Greeting Cards and Stationery

I love buying greeting cards from small businesses as they mean you can send them to loved ones to cheer their day and spread the handmade joy!

Brown Paper Festival

As well as running the online markets and small business community this year I collaborated with 3 amazing indie designers to create beautiful products for you! Jasmine Chin is the amazing illustrator behind the tote bag. She’s added so many details such as a little pair of scissors, a cute plant, a tube of paint and so much more!
The two notebooks were designed in collaboration with Katie Tinkler and Nicola B. One features a cup of tea and biscuits along with the words ‘ My business is fuelled by tea and biscuits’ and the other is motivational to get you feeling positive! It says ‘You’ve Got This, but if you don’t today that’s ok!’ in super cute blue and green lettering.
All are available to order now or you can get a totebag and notebook included in your Annual Subscription to the Brown Paper Creative Community!

I’m Dayz from Fussy Geek Wares. I am a Digital Illustrator and QA Engineer, so part arty and part techy. I make gifts and accessories for music lovers, cyclists, skaters, gamers, Excel spreadsheet fans & bullet journal fanatics. All of my work starts with a digital image that is then used for vinyl printing, silk screen printing, paper cutting for stickers and gift wrap or laser cut designs – bringing together hand crafts and tech.

Kimmy Priggen

Capturing that all important ‘twinkle in the eye’ is what makes my art so popular. I have always had a passion for painting, particularly animals for my own pleasure and I’ve found that people really appreciate the way I focus on capturing the animal’s personality and character and really ‘bring them to life’. Recently I’ve taken it up more seriously since taking voluntary redundancy from my job as a diamond valuer in 2008. Although not formally trained, I have learnt from two exceptionally talented local artists with very differing styles, who have given me real insight and showed me how to take my art to another level.
I am fundraising for some animal charities that are close to my heart, particularly International Animal Rescue, to which I am very committed, and I enjoy painting for them. Profits from prints of the baby Orang Utan ‘Punk Baby’ all go to this charity as well as 10% of profits from ‘Big Brother’ and ‘Punk Sister’. I hope you enjoy looking at my art.

Read Wrap Recycle

Charlotte came up with the idea for Read Wrap Recycle when wrapping Elsie’s pass the parcel in newspaper, after finding the news pretty depressing, she thought it would be fun to have a newspaper that was fun to look at with the soul intention of being used as gift wrap. The best part was not only realising that newspaper is incredibly easy to wrap with, but that it is made of 100% recycled paper. The paper used in our papers is produced here in the UK, just 60 miles from the printing press. As a family we are passionate about the environment, we are helping to reduce the 50,000 trees* estimated to be cut down each year for the sole purpose of wrapping gifts. We also love supporting UK based industry and all our products are sourced here to keep our carbon footprint low.
